Sunday Morning Service
Joining us for one of our Sunday services is an excellent way to connect with our Abundant Life community. Together, we hear the Scriptures taught, share what is going on in our lives, and worship Jesus through music. Our Sunday service starts at 10:30. Please consider gathering with us this Sunday!
Fellowship Activities
At Abundant Life we love to have fun! That is why on a regular basis we have times when the whole congregation gathers for food, games, and laughter. These gatherings provide an opportunity for us to grow closer to each other as we seek to grow closer to Jesus Christ. Please check our calendar of events for our next scheduled fellowship activity. If there is not one on the calendar, there will be one soon!
Another great time to connect with our church family is on Sunday mornings between Sunday School and the service. From 10:10-10:30, we have a time of fellowship over coffee and donuts. Come join us this Sunday!
Adult Sunday School
Our Adult Sunday School classes, which meet before the morning service from 9:30-10:10, are a great way to connect with others through Bible study and discussion of major life issues. As a result, it is a great way to also grow as a follower of Christ. In the past we have offered classes on marriage, parenting, creation, sharing your faith, women’s and men’s studies, and spiritual disciplines.
Right now in Adult Sunday School, we are offering a series about discipleship entitled Multiply.
Prayer Meeting
Each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. we meet at the church to pray for those that have specific needs, missionaries, our government, and the members of our church. Individuals can personally bring requests to the group, email them to Pastor Shane at shanecockrill@gmail.com or leave a message on the church’s voicemail system at 330-837-2271. No request is ever deemed too small. We would love to have you fellowship with us in a time of prayer this Wednesday evening!
Adult Bible Study
On Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., a small group meets in the library of the church to study the Bible. The study is led by Abundant Life’s former pastor, Roger Kurzen. If you have any questions about this study, please contact us at alcfohio@gmail.com.
Ignite Young Adults Ministry
ALCF is kicking off a new young adult’s ministry for high school graduates from the ages of 18 to 30-something. The ministry has 3 purposes: (1) to establish Christ-centered relationships through fellowship; (2) to foster these relationships through God’s Truth in Bible study; (3) to connect to other young adults in the community through outreach.
