Introduction to the Book of Luke

The invitation to follow Jesus is an invitation to journey down the narrow path. As we deny ourselves and take up our crosses to follow, we do not walk alone. We walk alongside other believers, our brothers and sisters in Christ, encouraging one another as we heal and grow and strive to become more like Jesus. This journey isn’t easy – it’s marked with adversity and doubt, with hard work and perseverance. Yet as followers of Jesus, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit and encouraged by God’s Word.
